Whole Number Word Problems #3 – Coming Soon

On a scale from 0 to 100 with 10 being not sure, 40 being somewhat sure, 70 being pretty sure, and 100 being very sure.

Okay, now you will solve the word problems.

You can use the scrap paper to do any math to help you solve the problems. Then you will take a picture of that paper. Please do not erase your work. If you decide to try a new way to solve the problem, just cross out the old work and continue working.

When you are done there is an answer space to type your answer.

Last summer, Jon's family found 152 shells at the beach. This summer they were at the beach for 7 days. Each day they found 9 shells.

How many fewer shells did they find this year than last year?
